China imposes anti-dumping duties on resins originating in Japan and Taiwan

on July 22, 2006, the Ministry of Commerce of the people's Republic of China issued announcement No. 42 in 2006, deciding to impose anti-dumping duties on imported PBT resins originating in Japan and Taiwan. The anti-dumping measures have been implemented since July 22, 2006 and will expire on July 22, 2011

Article 48 of the anti dumping regulations of the people's Republic of China stipulates that if it is determined after reexamination that the termination of the imposition of anti-dumping duties may lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury, the time limit for the imposition of anti-dumping duties may be extended appropriately

from the date of this announcement, the domestic industry or the natural person, legal person or relevant organization representing the domestic industry may submit an application for final review to the Ministry of Commerce in writing 60 days before the expiration date of the anti-dumping measures. The application shall contain a clear indication that the request for final review and sufficient evidence that the termination of anti-dumping measures may lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury

if the domestic industry or the natural person, legal person or relevant organization representing the domestic industry has not filed an application for review, and the Ministry of Commerce has not actively initiated the end of term review investigation before the expiration date of the anti-dumping measures, the above anti-dumping measures will be terminated from July 22, 2011, and the main source of the material will be imported from abroad
